The AMC Engineers Scholarship

$1000 per academic year/$500 per semester

The purpose of the AMC Engineers Scholarship is to offer financial assistance for tuition and other educational expenses to students who are formally admitted into the Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
The initial funding source of this scholarship was made possible by Adams, Morgenthaler, and Company, Inc.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
  • Applicant must be formally admitted into the Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Alaska Anchorage by the start of the semester of the award.
  • Applicant must plan on enrolling full-time (twelve (12) credits) at the University of Alaska Anchorage by the start of the semester of the award.
  • Applicant must have at least Junior class standing by the start of the semester of the award.
  • Applicant must be an Alaskan resident.

Forfeiture of Award:

  • Does not enroll full-time in the semester in which the award is to be in effect.
  • Is placed on academic and/or disciplinary probation.
  • Does not meet satisfactory academic progress.
  • No longer meets the scholarship qualifications
