Technical/Proposal Writer/Marketer

The primary objective of this assignment is to help our engineering company attract and secure new projects and to enhance and maintain our positive public image. Presentations must be visually appealing, easy to read, and technically correct. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a sharp, motivated individual with excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and good organizational skills. Candidate must have ability to meet strict deadlines and ability to work closely with many people on multiple projects.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Proposal preparation
  • Database management
  • Creating & maintaining information for the AMC web site, brochure and other marketing materials
  • Editing articles for professional publications
  • Preparing award submissions
  • Administrative support
  • Event and party planning
  • Promotional item research & acquisition
  • Taking project photos
  • Attending meetings & seminars
  • Preparing reports

We are looking for a good writer with artist skills and background training in science. The ideal person would possess a BS Degree in physical science, with additional BA degrees in English composition and Art, plus practical experience as an Owner's Construction Representative, Librarian, Census taker and Clinical Psychologist. Experienced Electrical Engineer (Engineer II and higher)

Experienced electrical engineers should demonstrate a strong facility engineering track record in institutional, office, educational, laboratory and hospital facilities.

Qualifications include:

  • Attainment of professional registration (PE) or Engineering Intern with a minimum of two years engineering experience
  • The position requires a BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a minimum 3.0 GPA from an ABET accredited college or university
  • Fluency in PC and AutoCAD literacy are required
  • Previous construction industry experience is a plus

Experienced Mechanical Engineer (Engineer II and higher)

Experienced mechanical engineers need to demonstrate a strong facility engineering track record in institutional, office, educational, laboratory and hospital facilities.
