Founded by Dave Adams and Boyd Morgenthaler in 1981, Adams, Morgenthaler and Company, Inc. began doing business as (dba) AMC Engineers in 1996. AMC Engineers is an award-winning, Anchorage-based firm that specializes in mechanical, electrical, control and telecommunications engineering services in support of institutional, industrial and commercial projects.

Led by eight seasoned Principals, AMC's mechanical and electrical engineers are experienced in a variety of specialties including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, fuel systems, fire suppression systems, direct digital control (DDC), energy management control systems (EMCS), indoor and outdoor lighting, telephone and data distribution, fire alarms, security systems, power generation and distribution, energy analysis and code compliance.
AMC is an employee-owned firm staffed by 30+ Alaskans. AMC projects include a variety of facilities - large and small - throughout the state of Alaska and in Washington State.
