UAA Engineering and Industry Building

This new four-story engineering facility features e-learning classrooms, commons, teaching labs, a faculty suite, and building support spaces. As part of the “Engineering on Display” initiative, the building itself functions as a teaching tool. Features include sensors for monitoring seismic activity, a carbon fiber sidewalk snowmelt system, flat-screen displays showcasing energy performance, corridor windows offering views of mechanical systems, and additional windows providing visibility into lab and teaching spaces.
