Deborah Muncy, PE, CDT

Project Electrical Engineer

Deborah was born and raised in Anchorage. From a young age, she excelled in math, but it wasn’t until high school, when she took her first physics class, that she discovered her passion for science. This interest led her to pursue a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she graduated in 2013. An avid athlete, Deborah grew up playing sports and continues to enjoy recreational volleyball. Over the past decade, she has been an active member of the CrossFit community, developing a strong passion for weightlifting and gymnastics within the sport. In September 2024, she welcomed her baby boy and is now embracing the exciting journey of motherhood alongside her career as an engineer.

Testimonial

  • AMC Engineers is so much more than just my day-to-day job—it’s my work family. I have deep respect for every member of the team. Not only do I collaborate with a group of incredibly talented individuals, but I also get to share laughs and meaningful moments with both mentors and peers. We genuinely value one another and recognize the important role each person plays in driving the company’s success. When I returned from maternity leave, the warm welcome I received made me feel even more grateful to be part of this team. It’s truly rewarding to work alongside people who care deeply and who appreciate each other.
