  1. What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Commercially fished (purse seining) for salmon and herring in the Aleutian and Shumagin Islands for 100 days every summer for five years in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Traveled to Sand Point, AK at age 20 on a handshake with no promise of any pay whatsoever, and it turned into a very rewarding (and very lucrative!) summer job during college. Learned many valuable life lessons as well.

  2. Where’s your dream travel destination?

Don’t tell my wife... but probably Iceland, for the beautiful scenery and the photo opportunities.

  3. If you could magically learn any language, which one would it be?

I would learn Spanish so that when I visit Mexico, I can show proper respect to the wonderful people and culture by speaking to them in their own language.
