Tami Hamler, PE
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Tami visited Alaska shortly after graduating from college and, like many Alaskans, fell in love with the place and never left. She joined AMC Engineers in 1996 and obtained her PE license in 1999. Since then, she has had the pleasure of traveling all over the state for a variety of projects. Each workday offers new challenges to solve, people to engage with, and something new to learn. That is truly what makes consulting engineering so rewarding. Tami loves spending time with her family and finds peace on long bike tours, riding singletrack trails, and walking the ridgelines of the Chugach.

I really like working at AMC Engineers, and a few of the primary reasons include the close-knit team culture, where developing better tools and design processes is both encouraged and celebrated; a flexible work environment that supports the needs of our everyday lives and provides the tools needed to get the job done with excellence; and the depth and variety of our projects, with clients who trust us to find the right solution.
