Staff Electrical Engineer

3 things you didn’t know about me:

  • Growing up in Wisconsin, I traveled to Alaska in 2009 after my second year of undergraduate studies expecting only to visit for a summer. Midway through that summer, I transferred my university credits to UAA and took up residence.
  • I hiked 17.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 7000 feet in one day determined to photograph three different avian species. I successfully photographed one species. I plan on making similar, but much less hectic, hikes every summer.
  • I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, more specifically, Asperger's Syndrome. While it makes communication with others challenging, it allows me to approach engineering problems with a unique perspective and an extraordinary attention to detail.
